Tom is available to give masterclasses or clinics. Clinicians are a valuable resource for band directors. Most educators realize that there is not enough time to teach their students all there is about a specific instrument or group. Clinicians open up students to different concepts and skills. Clinicians can also reinforce ideas that the director has been trying to convey, but the students have yet to embrace.

Tom uses his mastery of the instrument to help students understand concepts. Masterclasses can be geared toward brass playing, trombone skills, jazz playing (to include improvisation), how to practice, Army band life, or many other specified topics. Clinics can be structured to include student performance; feedback or explanation and demonstration of techniques; or a combination of both.

 

An hour-long masterclass costs $100. If you want me to give multiple classes or perform with the groups as a guest artist, contact me. We can negotiate a price amenable to both.

 

Both Tom and Julie are available to lead sectionals. Fees depend on how much time is desired.
